SmartVal Pro

Intelligent Appraisal Management Platform
by Evalix

What is SmartVal Pro?

SmartVal Pro is a comprehensive, cloud-based platform built specifically for certified vehicle and property appraisers. It replaces the fragmented set of tools that appraisers typically juggle — spreadsheets, email, paper forms, document folders, separate invoicing software — with a single, unified system that handles every aspect of the appraisal practice.

The platform is designed around the real-world workflow of appraisal professionals in Israel, supporting the full lifecycle of an appraisal case: receiving a claim, scheduling an inspection, documenting damage with photos, sourcing replacement parts, calculating repair costs, generating a professional appraisal report, issuing invoices, and tracking payments.

SmartVal Pro is a multi-tenant SaaS platform — each appraisal firm or independent appraiser operates within their own secure, isolated environment with their own branding, cases, clients, and data.

Who Uses SmartVal Pro?

SmartVal Pro serves licensed vehicle and property damage appraisers — professionals who assess damage for insurance claims, legal proceedings, and private transactions. Users include:

Core Features

Every module is designed around simplicity and the daily needs of a working appraiser:

Case Management

Open new appraisal cases, assign them to team members, track progress through customizable statuses, and close cases when complete. Each case holds all related data — contacts, documents, photos, calculations, and communications — in one place.

Professional Report Generation

Generate detailed, regulation-compliant appraisal reports with automated damage calculations, depreciation tables, VAT handling, and professional formatting. Reports are generated as PDFs ready for submission to insurance companies and courts.

Parts Search & Pricing

Search across multiple parts databases to find replacement parts, compare prices from different suppliers, and automatically calculate repair cost estimates. Pricing data feeds directly into the appraisal report calculations.

Photo & Document Management

Capture damage photos directly from mobile devices, organize them by case and damage area, annotate images, and attach supporting documents. Photos are automatically linked to the correct case and available for report inclusion.

Invoicing & Payments

Generate professional invoices and receipts tied to appraisal cases. Track payment status, manage billing cycles, and maintain a complete financial record for each case and client.

Scheduling & Task Management

Manage inspection appointments, court hearing dates, deadlines, and follow-up tasks. Set reminders, assign tasks to team members, and keep the entire office schedule organized with calendar integration.

AI-Powered Intelligence

Built-in AI engine for automatic document recognition (OCR) — extract data from scanned invoices, insurance forms, and identification documents. Smart calculations assist with damage assessment and cost estimation.

Client & Contact Management

Maintain a database of clients, insurance companies, repair shops, legal contacts, and other stakeholders. Link contacts to cases for quick access and communication tracking.

How It Works

A typical workflow in SmartVal Pro follows the natural appraisal process:

  1. Case Intake — A new appraisal request comes in (from an insurance company, lawyer, or private client). The appraiser creates a new case, entering vehicle/property details, claim information, and involved parties.
  2. Inspection & Documentation — The appraiser schedules a site visit, photographs damage using the app's photo module, and collects supporting documents (police reports, previous appraisals, repair estimates).
  3. Damage Assessment — Using the parts search and calculation tools, the appraiser itemizes damage, sources replacement parts with pricing, and builds a detailed cost breakdown including labor, parts, depreciation, and VAT.
  4. Report Generation — With all data in place, the appraiser generates a professional PDF report that includes all findings, calculations, photos, and conclusions — formatted for submission to insurance companies or courts.
  5. Billing & Closure — The appraiser generates an invoice for the appraisal service, tracks payment, and closes the case. All records are retained for future reference.

External Integrations

SmartVal Pro connects with external services to reduce manual work and keep the appraiser's tools in sync. All integrations are optional, initiated by the user from the settings page, and can be disconnected at any time.

Google Services

Google Calendar

Two-way sync between SmartVal Pro's scheduling system and the user's Google Calendar. Appraisal appointments, site visits, court dates, and task deadlines are kept in sync across both platforms, ensuring the appraiser's personal and work calendars stay aligned.

Google Drive (Read-Only Access)

Allows appraisers to browse and attach existing documents from their Google Drive — such as photos, scanned invoices, prior appraisal reports, and insurance correspondence — directly into appraisal case files within the app. This avoids re-uploading files that already exist in the user's cloud storage.

Gmail (Read-Only Access)

Scans incoming emails for documents and attachments related to active appraisal cases — for example, insurance company correspondence, client submissions, invoices from repair shops, and legal notices. The app matches emails by subject, sender, and case reference, then links relevant items to the appropriate case file. SmartVal Pro only reads emails — it never sends, modifies, or deletes any messages.

Microsoft Services

Outlook, OneDrive & Outlook Calendar

Similar functionality to the Google integrations — email scanning, document access, and calendar sync — for users who use Microsoft 365 as their primary productivity suite.

Security & Privacy

SmartVal Pro is built with security at its core. Each organization's data is fully isolated through row-level security policies. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. User authentication is handled via industry-standard protocols. External service tokens are stored securely server-side and are never exposed to the client.

The platform complies with data protection standards and gives users full control over their connected accounts and data. Users can review, export, or delete their data at any time.
